We are excited to announce an upcoming Workshop on Documentation of Ecclesiastical Heritage, taking place in the beautiful and historic city of Istanbul, from December 9th to 11th, 2024. This workshop, organized by the EU ERASMUS+ Program NARRATE: "Needs for digital recording and documentation of Ecclesiastical Cultural Treasures in monasteries and temples", promises to be an enriching experience for all those involved in the preservation, documentation, and study of ecclesiastical treasures.
What to Expect:
Expert-Led Sessions: Engage with leading professionals in the field of heritage documentation; the event will feature distinguished speakers from the academic field, researchers and experts in digital documentation and ecclesiastical history.
Hands-On Experience: Gain practical skills through interactive seminars, where you will work directly with cutting-edge techniques such as 3D photogrammetry, focusing on the documentation and preservation of ecclesiastical treasures. Participants will have the opportunity to learn and apply these techniques to the unique and intricate artifacts found within ecclesiastical settings.
Cultural Immersion: The workshop will be held in the heart of Istanbul, a city renowned for its rich ecclesiastical history and stunning architecture. Participants will have the opportunity to explore some of the city's most iconic religious sites as part of the workshop.
